Much Better Update This Week

After a week of taking it easy and being on blood pressure meds, the doc today was very pleased with my results. He said there was no sign of preeclampsia, which is also measured by the amount of amniotic fluid. He said the fluid levels looked great. He also said that I am dilated to 2 cm, and he said he felt her head. I thought this was big news, but he didn't seem to think it was. I think this is the fairly slow part as he figured she would be here pretty close to her due date. 1 more week!

We did another fetal non-stress test today as well, and I did so much better than last week! I actually pushed the button several times. However, John was in the room with me and kept making me laugh. Like those big belly, tears coming out laughs. Those are fun, right? Well, not when you have monitors that are monitoring your stomach movements. We had to apologize to the nurse...I felt like a little kid. She thought we were funny, I think.

So, we are still waiting on our little angel to make her appearance. Her daddy was disappointed that he doesn't get to meet her today. He is very ready to meet her!
