The Rutledge family is in Tokyo!! The picture above is us eating Korean BBQ at a place by our house. I think we have worn them out over the past few days, but we have had a great time. They have done pretty well adjusting to the jet lag. Although, we were having to poke them every few minutes at dinner the second night to be sure they stayed awake. We had a great Christmas morning together, which involved unloading one of the 5 suitcases they had to bring to fit all the stuff they brought for us. Some of our Japanese friends requested beef jerky and sour straw candy, which John and I have also enjoyed! Among lots of other things, they also bought us an arrangement of salsas. So excited about that!
Today we went to Cirque Du Soleil, which was phenomenal! Here's a link to check out a clip of the show we saw: Corteo I highly recommend seeing one of these shows if you have the chance. We then went to dinner to one of our favorite places in Tokyo that is on the canal that feeds into Tokyo Bay.
Tomorrow we have more sightseeing then Disney Sea (a park they only have in Tokyo) on Monday. Will post more pics soon.
